Research Interests:   Synthetic organic chemistry.    Bromination.  Photooxygenation. Functionalization of aromatics:  Preparation of aryl compounds and their conversions (naphthalene/tetralin,indene/indane, anthracene, phenanthrene, quinoline/tetrahydroquinoline, biphenylene).
